The Bait Caster Rod Holder adds a unique dimension to the sport of kayaking. It holds a baitcaster reel in a cushioned cradle, with a slot in the front of the holder allowing for a spinning reel to be securely held in position. A side-mounted flange leaves the bottom open, allowing trigger sticks and pistol grip rod butts easily to clear the sides of the rod holder for quick rod retrieval. Rods can be secured in holder with a soft latching strap which snaps over the top.
